It all started with this basket (above). I was about to toss it when I remembered who gave it to me (my amazing sister in-law). She always wraps my Christmas gifts in things she crafts together. Of course I try and top her. This basket/gift has been in my possession that's say 7 years or so. I think it's about time for us to part ways. However, i'll just pull the roses off then throw together a headband... just because I can.
You will need an old basket that you don't want with roses on it that you don't need. (see above)
8 silk roses (color optional)
1 glue gun w/glue sticks (5)
1 can spray paint black (flat)
pliers/wire cutters for stems from said roses (this will help w/unwanted glue)
Start be placing your flowers on the right side working left. That's what I did even though the pic's show you differently. You want it to be even so, I assembled my roses in a train like pattern before I glued them on. Try not to mush your roses to much, kinda let the personality of the roses and leaves form.
I like the first one.
That's it. I can't wait to show my sister in-law. I wonder if she even remembers these.
